A growing body of research into work on digital platforms is revealing processes of job insecurity that range from a drop in workers' incomes to a deterioration in their health and safety at work, including an increase in the mortality rate of delivery workers - especially racialized ones - and other problems that are spreading throughout society in parallel with the dizzying expansion of digital platforms into the most diverse economic sectors.
